| Join us
for Pioneer Days, the weekend of the third Sunday of July. Sunday
features our steam
engine and tractor parades. During the weekend you can see the
dynamometer, buzz saw, the log planner, bundle threshing, plowing,
blacksmithing, wheelwright and horse drawn wagon rides. Other heritage
demonstrations include soap and butter making, heritage crafts, rope
making, wool carding, lard rendering, clay oven baking and milk
separating. Pioneer
Days also features musical entertainment by local musicians, log
sawing and planning, shingle making, grist mill
(grinding wheat to flour), morning breakfast, food booth open ,
popcorn,
candy and ice-cream cones. The events
schedule is sure to keep you busy for the weekend. Please

Visitors
Pets are not allowed within the museum site, except for Service Animals
for people with disabilities and working dogs. |

Start your Saturday and Sunday mornings off with a pancake and eggs breakfast. Wash it all down with juice or coffee and sit under the tent enjoying the breakfast and the morning. | ![]() |

The highlight "must stop by" is the outdoor clay oven where the volunteer staff bake bread and mouth watering cinnamon buns. The flour for the buns and bread is ground in the grist mill from wheat grown on the museum site. | |
Music all day Saturday and Sunday for your listening and dancing enjoyment. |

Antique cars are on display both days coming from far and wide. There are parades around the museum site. The viewing public vote for competing cars in various categories. | |
