"Preserve the Past ~ For the Future"
Operating since 1967
Join us for Pioneer Days, the weekend of the third Sunday of July. During the weekend you can see the log planner, bundle threshing, plowing, blacksmithing, wheelwright and horse drawn wagon rides. Other heritage demonstrations include soap making, heritage crafts, rope making, wool carding, lard rendering, clay oven baking and milk separating. Pioneer Days also features musical entertainment by local musicians, log sawing and planning, shingle making, grist mill (grinding wheat to flour), morning breakfast, food booth open , popcorn and ice-cream cones.  The events schedule is sure to keep you busy for the weekend.
Please Note:
Visitors Pets are not allowed within the museum site, except for Service Animals for people with disabilities and working dogs. Also we dont't have a ATM machine at our museum! Therefor we are CASH ONLY for this event.

Start your Saturday and Sunday mornings off with a pancake and eggs breakfast. Wash it all down with juice or coffee.

 cinnamon buns The highlight "must stop by" is the outdoor clay oven where the volunteer staff bake bread and mouth watering cinnamon buns. The flour for the buns and bread is ground in the grist mill from wheat grown on the museum site.

Music all day Saturday and Sunday for your listening and dancing enjo
yment. Saturday evening we will be having BBQ Beef dinner. Petting Zoo Both days!

On Sunday we have church service, Corn on the cob and join us for a BBQ Ham dinner.
We will have a local craft sale happening all weekend long!

Antique cars are on display both days coming from far and wide.  We also have a Heritage Tractor & Steam Engine Parades going on over the weekend.
Also Heritage homemaking Demos!
